These well-known places would make great maps for Dead By Daylight.
In the online horror game Dead By Daylight, there are a lot of great, well-known killers and survivors. With video game and movie properties licensed to the game, there are a lot of ways to make new material. But even though most of the love goes to the well-known playable characters, most of the famous places from these shows have made great maps.

With video game and movie properties licensed to the game, there are a lot of ways to make new material. But even though most of the love goes to the well-known playable characters, most of the famous places from these shows have made great maps.
The Skeld From Among Us

At this point, no one can argue that the original map from Among Us isn’t one of the most famous from the past few years. If you’ve played Among Us, you already know a lot about how this ship is set up.
The rooms in the Skeld should work well in Dead By Daylight; just replace some of the jobs with a generator. Who knows, maybe a team member will be added as a survivor and a fake person will be added as a killer. It would be especially satisfying if survivors could float out of the Entity’s Realm and into the dark reaches of space.
Dracula’s Castle From Castlevania

There are a lot of famous buildings in pop culture, but Castlevania’s Dracula’s Castle stands out as one of the best. It would fit with the creepy atmosphere of Dead By Daylight, especially if the head vampire was there with it.
Over the years, games have shown the castle, but there have been so many that it might be better if this version was based on the cartoon series instead, so Behaviour could do a more direct interpretation. Even though it would probably be best if the house didn’t disappear or turn upside down while you were fixing a generator.
Endor From Star Wars

When Ewok Hunt, an infected game mode in which Ewoks took down troopers at night, was added to Star Wars Battlefront 2, people realized how scary the Forest Moon of Endor could be.
Endor might not be the first Star Wars crossover you’d want for Dead By Daylight, but there’s no doubt that it would work well. You might never be chased by Darth Vader, but we could always hide from killers in the trees of Endor while Ewoks cheered us on.
The Antarctica Research Station From The Thing

Ormond Ski Resort, one of the maps in Dead by Daylight, is already a snowy place. But the Antarctic station in 1982’s The Thing is the creepiest place I’ve ever seen. Even though it might be hard to get The Thing into the game as a killer, Behaviour could always add the abandoned station to the game before or after everyone is dead.
It could be nice to have a dog locked up in a kennel, but only if The Entity doesn’t hurt animals. Though no one would say no to MacReady, played by Kurt Russell, or Childs, played by Keith David.
The USG Ishimura From Dead Space

Isaac Clarke as a survivor and a Necromorph as a killer could be enough for a full chapter in the Dead Space series, but we’re more interested in how the Ishimura would shine as a map.
If it didn’t break the game too much, Behaviour could find a smart way to add the parts of the ship with no gravity to the game. But even if it’s just a standard map, the abandoned halls and tram system would make for an interesting gameplay loop. Nemesis and Dredge would also be right at home.
The Spencer Mansion From Resident Evil

The Raccoon City Police Department from the Resident Evil series is one of the best-looking maps that are already in Doodle Baseball game. But it would be great to run around the Spencer Mansion from the first Resident Evil. It has everything you could want in a great map: tight corridors, verticality, and outdoor places.
The only reason not to add this map is that it might need to come out with skins instead of new characters, since Chris, Jill, and Wesker can already be played as characters in Dead By Daylight. Barry Burton or the Tyrant might be used.
The Winchester Tavern From Shaun of the Dead

Even though Shaun of the Dead isn’t known for its setting, that doesn’t mean that The Winchester wouldn’t make a good map. If the engines were turned on, they could turn on parts of the pub, like the lights and the fruit machine. It could also make the Jukebox play music, although it wouldn’t be Queen this time.
Like RCPD, The Winchester could have screaming zombies in the background. Adding Simon Pegg’s Shaun and Nick Frost’s Ed as survivors might not be too much of a stretch if they used the drinking hole as a map. In the end, though, they did get Nicolas Cage.
The Mall From The Last of Us

If the mall from The Last of Us wasn’t already famous after The Last of Us: Left Behind, it is now. It would be great if a whole part was based on the HBO show or Naughty Dog’s award-winning games, but the characters from the show might not fit the game’s style.
So, instead of thinking about Joel, Ellie, Tommy, or Riley, it would be great to have a map based on that mall where we could run up and down the escalators, smash through the Halloween store, and jump over some arcade machines.
Hell From Doom

If Behaviour wants to change up the content of Dead By Daylight, there will need to be maps that aren’t just dark woods or empty buildings. It might be a little crazy to work with ID Software to make a map of hell, but it would be great.
It wouldn’t have to be hell, either. It could be a part of Hell on Earth, with a hellish background but in a New York City building. It could even be a full DLC with the Doom Slayer as a survivor and one of Doom’s many monsters as a killer.
The Sewers From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

If Behavior wants to keep Dead By Daylight interesting, an area that is all underground would be a good idea. The drains of New York could be a good place for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to live. Imagine that you were being chased by a killer into the Turtle Lair, where you ran around their couch and hid behind the Party Wagon, the Turtles’ famous van.
There could also be something aboveground on the map, like sewer grates that people would have to fall through to get to the lower level. We can only hope that none of the killers like turtle soup.
